Thys van Rooyen Consulting (TVRC) is a Professional Consulting Engineers Practice specialising in Civil and Structural Engineering.

We are based in the Overberg with offices in Hermanus and Struisbaai, but undertake work throughout South Africa and Namibia.

Our Structural Engineering services involve the design of the structural elements of single and multi-storey residential, commercial and industrial buildings in reinforced concrete, steel and timber.

Our Civil Engineering expertise is in the design of township services (such as water and sewerage reticulation, stormwater disposal and management and cable ducting) as well as roads, paths and sidewalks. We have supervised and certified the successful installation and construction of these in several developments, both large and small.

We liaise with the Architects before and during construction and also carry out structural supervision during construction of the buildings and certify the main and roof structures upon successful completion.

We are registered as a competent person with the NHBRC for residential construction.
